Muditā Season 2

The second edition of Muditā, the Interschool Gathering for Peace, Harmony, Happiness and Amity hosted by Sacred Heart CMI Public School, Thevara began on a vibrant note on 28 September 2024. Rev. Fr. Paul Chittinappilly, Vicar, St. John Nepumsian’s Church, Konthuruthy inaugurated the event along with our Principal, Rev. Dr. Varghese Kachappilly CMI, Vice Principal, Ms. Vinitha Mendez, Headmistress, Ms. Sindhu Tharayil and Kindergarten Headmistress, Ms. Bindu Thomas. The heartening words of Rev. Fr. Paul Chittinappilly set the tone for the elegant unfolding of Muditā.

The grand event recorded an impressive upsurge in terms of participation with 41 CBSE schools from Kochi participating in the event.

 

Over 975 students put their heart and soul into the diverse range of competitions and showcased their talents. The competitions were conducted in 10 venues on the School Campus. Each of the 16 competitions challenged and celebrated various skills of the participants. The creative and dynamic presentations that explored a wide range of skills including dance, music, craft, literary and sporting skills added to the grandeur of Muditā. In keeping with the tradition of Muditā, goody bags were gifted to all participants promoting a sense of joy and amity. 
 
The valedictory and prize distribution ceremony was presided by our Chief Guest,  Mr. Kalavoor Ravikumar. Mr. Sajan Palluruthy and Rev. Fr. Bibin George were also present as the Guests of Honour. The inspiring words of Mr. Kalavoor Ravikumar and Mr. Sajan Palluruthy stirred a tapestry of emotions in our audience while the mellifluous voice of Rev. Fr. Bibin George enraptured and captured the hearts of the audience. The children enjoyed matching the rhythm of Rev. Fr. Bibin’s song with movements and our Heartians dressed as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse joined them in creating cherished and cheerful moments. 
 
Our Guests of the Valedictory Ceremony distributed the certificates and trophies to the individual champions and the winning teams.
 
In short, the second edition of Muditā epitomised not only values like Peace, Harmony, Happiness and Amity but also collective pride and togetherness that scaffolded the Heartian community.
