Sacred Heart CMI Public School

Sacred Heart CMI Public School in Kochi evolved from a dream nurtured by parents, both local and NRI, to begin a CMI Institution in the heart of Ernakulam city. School embarked on its educational journey in 2003 under the guidance of the Fathers of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate. During its inception, the school’s leadership included Fr. George Koyikkara as the principal, Fr. John Pynadath as the manager, and Mrs. Thankamma Abraham as the Headmistress of the kindergarten section. The school’s humble beginning featured the establishment of four classes -LKG, UKG, STD 1 and STD 2.

As the school grew and developed, it achieved a significant milestone by obtaining CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) affiliation in 2006, which allowed it to offer education following the CBSE curriculum. Continuing on its path of advancement, the school has experienced numerous upgrades over the years, with the latest occurring in 2022. These upgrades signify an expansion of its facilities and educational offerings, potentially encompassing higher grades or additional amenities to cater to the evolving needs of the students and enhance their learning experience.
